If luck is defined as the point where opportunity meets preparation, then the Campus Health Service Travel Clinic helps students and employees stay lucky when they travel outside the country. It's great to have the chance to see other places, and few things could be worse than having the adventure of a lifetime spoiled by illness. Would-be travelers might want take advantage of the services offered by the travel clinic to get the most out of their trips. This week, Lo Que Pasa asks an expert about common illnesses, how to tell if water is safe, what to have in a first aid kid, and the optimal time to make a pre-travel appointment at the clinic. Hear what expert Amy Direnfeld, an immunization nurse at the travel clinic, has to say about these things and more in this video.
